It’s almost time for our GCARC Christmas Party which will be held on December 15th at 7pm!
This year we will be hosting the Christmas party as a ticketed event. While tickets are free, its still important to register for tickets for you and your family in advance so that we have an accurate headcount and can have a gift prepared for you. Don’t forget to include the call signs of any hams that will be in your party when you register. Guests do NOT have to be members of the club, so let your family know they are welcome!
We will be having a regular open menu for the event, so just as at our monthly meetings, each family will order and pay separately; however, we will also have some tamales (donated by Glen N5LDO and Angel N5APJ) to share as well as any desserts attendees bring to the event. You can sign up to bring a dessert when you register for tickets, by commenting on this post, or by emailing me to add your dessert to the list. Here is the current list of desserts for the Christmas party:
- Apple Turnovers
- Pecan Pie
- Sugar Free Dessert
- Cake
Grayson County Amateur Radio Club will also be supporting Toys for Tots this year, with our Christmas party being the last opportunity for donations. Full details on our 2020 Toys for Tots drive can be found here.
